Summary: We experienced very pleasant holiday at Mario's apartment which was nice and clean located at a quiet place. The balcony overlooks the sea directly. The owner was very kind and friendly willing to advise us what to visit in the surroundings. I really recommend this place for holiday.

Summary: This apartment and the area around were perfect for the two of us for two weeks in the height of summer. At times busy and otherwise quite quiet, the resort was clean and friendly. The small beach is ideal for stretching out to read and swimming in the sea was a delightful way to work off the pasta or just cool off. The apartment is even better than it appears in the advert being well equipped and very tidy. Trieste and the surrounding area had lots to offer and Mario and Patricia were excellent hosts suggesting ideas for things to do and where to visit and eat. We intend to return very soon.

Summary: We arrived on a hot Saturday afternoon to be greeted by the gate by Mario and his wife. We had been provided excellent driving instructions by Mario beforehand and had no problems finding the place. There is a reserved parking spot belonging to the flat. The flat is located on a beautiful hillside with direct access to a small pebble beach. Chairs and umbrellas can be rented and there is a small bar for refreshments. The water was amazingly clear and our kids had a great time snorkeling. The apartment consist of a small bedroom with bunk beds on the ground floor, toilet, open kitchen which leads to a balcony which overlooks the sea. Upstairs (mezzanine) is a double bed, cupboards and shower room. The room has a view of the sea. The apartment is nicely decorated and our bed was super comfortable. During the week we visited there was a heat-wave but luckily there is a/c as well as a ceiling fan in the living area. The apartment was spotless, with plenty of towels and the beds were made up with lovely sheets. Due to the heat-wave we did not do as much sightseeing as we had anticipated instead we enjoyed the sea. Especially the early morning/late evening swims with almost no one around. We visited the castle in Duino which is well worth a visit. We had lots of lovely seafood meals in the various small harbors around the area. This was our first time in this part of Italy but it will definitely not be our last. We can highly recommend this property and the region.

Summary: "The apartment was newly refurbished and very clean inside. It was perfect for our family of four. The kitchen was fully stocked with enough pots and dishes, for meals there during the day. The balcony overlooked the beach, which was only crowded on the weekends since we were there before the season truly began. The owners were very friendly and suggested places to visit while we were staying there. It is a short drive to the ICTP, where I was participating in a conference. I would highly recommend anyone who is visiting the Trieste area to consider staying here."
