Summary: The location is perfect as is the accommodation, nice enclosed garden and enough room for us and our dogs. Hourtin and the surrounding region is a beautiful place to visit and when we go in October its lovely and peaceful with pleasant weather. Thoroughly recommend this property and we'll definitely be visiting again.

Summary: We spent 2 nice weeks in this property. The description is perfectly right, the place was clean and I particully apreciated the terrace. The lake is quiet and nice; if you find hidden path and walk for a while, you could find beautifull beach you will only share with birds. I didn't met the owner but she offered us a welcomme Medoc bottle of wine we appreciated much.If you like nature you will love the area: Ocean, Lake, forest. Neighbours are very near but cars are far away so you can sleep very well. Nice place to go !
