Summary: Overall impression: very nice cabin near the lake. We arrived to an immaculate interior. Clean everywhere, and smelling good. The interior of the cabin is very cool, with ceiling fans, Vornado fans, and a very cool ac unit in the living room. We ran it but the space keeps cool very well. The kitchen has everything you need. There’s also a grill out back in the patio area. Everything seems pretty new still. Couldn’t have asked for a better place for our weekend getaway. Communication with the owner was fast as well. They answered our queries quickly. All in all, a very nice place.

Summary: With a family of 5 and 2 dogs this was the perfect place to stay. I’m from HL but moved to Mississippi 15 years ago so I did not know what was available in town for places that let dogs stay. We had our own privacy with the 2 rooms and 3TV’s and a sitting area when you first walk in! I will definitely book again next time

Summary: We had a great time! There were eight of us total, and we all had a place to sleep! Felt very homey and had everything we needed! Our dog used the electric fence and it was his first time, but he caught on to the beeps pretty quick haha. Main bedroom bed was very comfortable. Lots to do around here and we will definitely be back! The beach at Higgins State Park was awesome and only a 20 minute drive. Restaurants were all good and host was very helpful in suggestions! Our dog loved it and so did we! Thanks for the hospitality :)
