Positive: Beautiful grounds and pool. Lovely little walk behind hotel, staff are very friendly

Negative: Room was on top floor, small with low beams. Even as a short person I had to bend while walking around. Beds are not comfortable

Positive: Promises a great deal but the accommodation is pretty basic and needs renovating. Having a pool are with no bar or food during the day is contradictory… Not sure if it’s a place to relax or just B&B. Highlight was the outdoor restaurant in the evening

Positive: Old estate built in 1789 that has been renovated into a hotel. Beautiful building that gives you a good idea what it was like back in the day. I short of awesome.

Negative: Rustic feel in an an absolutely beautiful, tranquil and quit setting. Will stay there again

Positive: Location definitely met our needs. We wanted something just outside the city with a traditional Tuscan vibe. The staff at Villa Cheli were also very helpful and friendly. Very pet friendly too which made our stay more relaxing.

Negative: Breakfast was quite basic with little variety day to day.

Summary: A very pleasant stay. Would certainly recommend if you want an authentic Tuscan experience.

Negative: Breakfast at the hotel for 200 eur per day is a disgrace, the only thing that can defend the hotel is the location, the facility and the restaurant, which we could only use on the day of arrival because the rest of the days it was simply closed

Positive: The villa is absolutely beautiful.

Negative: The location is a little more remote than we had anticipated. A car is a huge advantage. As the villa is built on a very steep hill ,it is not really appropriate for elderly people or anyone with mobility issues. Some of the rooms are further up the hill than the main building and are difficult to walk to in wet conditions.
