Positive: The perfect end to a wonderful two weeks in the Azores. Hotel Verde Mar was the perfect place to relax after lots of hiking! Breakfasts were great (including the prosecco!), the room was lovely with a great view of the sea (would definitely recommend a seaview room), staff friendly and so helpful! Wonderful!

Positive: We liked the heating option in the room and the view. The gym and the swimming pool opening hours and the temperature of the swimming pool. The staff really nice. Hotel really clean.

Negative: The semi jacuzzi in the pool was not working. Everyone wanted to relax and tried to turn it on, but you had to be lucky to do so. I asked the staff how it works they explained that sometimes it works sometimes not and were not able to make it work. This is not their fault and should be fixed by the management. Boring for the kids, should have a slide at least in the pool. The breakfast was nice, especially the fruits, but too boring for a 5 star hotel. We stayed 5 nights and only 1 day it had a delicious oven baked toasts with ham and cheese that were disapearing quickly.

Positive: We were upgraded to 1b Suite with terrace because of problems in a previous room. This suite is nice. A lot of space, both bath and a shower, two sinks. Breakfast is nice, lots of options. Staff is very friendly. Spa is small but nice. Gym is awesome! View is spectacular!

Negative: Wifi connection in 132 room (bedroom especially) doesn’t work properly.
