Summary: The room was clean and bed comfy. I got a balcony suite and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony on a warm December night! I also loved the shower and bathroom. It was nice to have a counter and sink also, plus a comfy couch to sit on! Would def stay again!

Summary: I don’t drink, room was really nice. My only complaint is that I scheduled a room weeks in advance and also paid in advance with a time to arrive to check in only to be told that my room wasn’t ready yet and would be ready in the next couple hours. Then I was called an hour later to try and switch my room from one king size to two queen sized beds, not an issue because I only stayed one night but I would give it 5 stars if I was given the room that I originally booked and paid for ahead of time vs the room I ended up with.

Summary: I purchased a King room and was given a 2 queen room. I tried to resolve with the front counter and they basically said there was nothing they could or would do about it even after showing them my reservation.

Summary: Hotel Vandivort was way more luxe than I was expecting for Springfield, MO. And downtown was HOPPING on a Friday night-- cocktails downstairs and room amenities upstairs were really nice. A couple little things: 1) just one elevator to our room in the annex and the rooftop bar meant we were having to wait a LOT along with bar goers to get up and down. And although I was totally charmed that we got a turntable and records in our room, there was something wrong with the speakers and we couldn't play them :( Gorgeous hotel, and perfectly quiet inside even though it was so central.
