Positive: 10 out of 10 small friendly hotel in the centre and easy to find with a safe car park .my room had a lounge as well as a bedroom and bathroom. I had breakfast and dinner for my stay and everything was good .

Positive: The hotel rooms had clearly had a lot of money spent on them very recently and it showed. Everything was fresh, there was no wear. There was a good atmosphere. Breakfast was good. The main course was made to order, promptly.Dinner was good the one time I ate in the hotel restaurant.

Negative: While everything else had money spent on it, the shower had not. It was the only thing that let down the room. The shower head was at a fixed height. The shower was surrounded by a cheap sliding screen like you found in hotels 20 years ago. It was totally out of place with the rest of the room. The shower was small so you kept banging your elbows on the cheap sliding screen. There was enough space in the bathroom for the shower to be several square meters larger. For a recently refreshed building, I would have expected a walk-in shower. There was no air conditioning - only a fan - but none of the hotels in Chomutov appear to have air conditioning. It was an old building with thick stone walls so it didn't warm up quickly & the room temperature was OK even when it was 35 degrees outside. The curtains were very thin and not blackout. Fortunately I had an airline eye mask.
