Positive: Magnificent Art Deco building in great location. Huge room.

Negative: Downside of the period architecture, is that the plumbing and electrics are not state of the art. If you don’t stay, visit, admire the architecture, have a coffee in their coffee shop.

Positive: The hotel’s architecture, style and history are awesome. The breakfast buffet is lovely, the staff is helpful, and it’s located centrally in Bandung. We definitely recommend the tour in the vintage car, which was a lot of fun!

Negative: Not the cleanest and in need of a freshening up. Despite the housekeeping team doing a very good job of tidying the room every day, there’s a structural cleanliness issue that management should address. We found two small cockroaches in the bathroom… and we decided not to try out the swimming pool because the water looked so grimy.

Negative: I requested them to arrange a large, new SUV for a day's trip. The person in reception has shown a picture with two doors of a car and asked if it is OK. I responded saying that as far as it is a good new SUV I don't mind as I didn't have any idea about the brand of the car he was referring to. Next morning, when the car arrived (15 minutes late), I found out that it is a small car and I informed the girl in the reception that I was only looking for a large SUV, and requested her to book one. She talked to the person who arranged the small car and replied bluntly that if i cancel this small car (which I can) then they will not call or order another, which was kind of strange! and in the entire incident I lost more than 30 minutes. Later I had to book an SUV online.

Positive: - hotel is historical and legend - location is very central - big rooms - big balcony on street side - nice bed - price was good - friendly staffs

Negative: There was water dripping from the air conditioner in our roms. The bathroom also need to be upgraded, especially the shower area : - no place to hang the towel near shower area - flexible shower rather than a wall fixed shower - the shower curtain - would be good if there was a glass wall instead, so that water did not splash to the floor in front of the toilet

Negative: The window, its too noisy to sleep bcause our rooms with the view of the street. But i understand that bcause our location is so close with braga street and asia africa street.

Positive: The location, the staff and the lobby dining areas are wonderful. It has seen countless significant events. A comfortable bed.

Negative: The bedrooms are dated and shabby. The bathroom is very much in need of refurbishment. The corridors are grubby.
