Summary: Although the breakfasts were nice the meals in the restaurant in the evenings were not so good. On our second night we had braised cod. The fish was grey not filleted and hard. We left most of it as it tasted fowl.

Summary: Nice area, typical portuguese village. Quiet hotel, good food. Hotel shows some marks of overdue maintenance. We had a suite, the ashtray on the balcony was full of left cigarettes

Summary: The best thing about this hotel is the young staff working here. They were very helpful, and made sure things ran smoothly. Our drain in the bathtub broke, and we were able to get help right away. They also made sure that we had gluten- and lactose-free options for breakfast. The kids loved spending time in the pool, so a big plus! The suite was very large and spacious, with two bathrooms. The rooms also had a pillow menu to choose from, which was very nice. The bed is on the firm side, which is what we prefer. Very good place to relax and sit on the balcony with a drink in your hand.

Summary: The hotel is an extremely unexpected but delightful boutique modernist palace on the fringe of a sleepy Portuguese mountain town. Everything about the hotel is good, but the customer service and attentiveness is quite exceptional. A fantastic place!

Summary: A good modern hotel. Spacious room with very comfortable bed. Well fitted out with all conveniences. Good location in picturesque countryside. Staff were multi lingual, helpful and friendly. In house dinner was good. Cold buffet breakfast was fine. Would have stayed longer if I' d had the time.
