Positive: Great location in Appenzell. Short walk to shops and train station. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We used the sauna after a day of hiking in the rain. Just what we needed! They stored our luggage overnight while we hiked to Aescher to stay one night.

Positive: Location are in small town. Close to all you need supermarket and some cloth shop. The owner Scottish Lady very friendly look after us so well. The breakfast are so many choice egg were freshly cooked.

Negative: Our room were great. Clean and comfort. Conveniently carpark just behind hotel.
