Summary: A little annoying to have had my Japanese resident card scanned, which shouldn't be the case, but 90 percent of hotels do it in Japan... Otherwise very good hotel. Excellent room, the superior one is nice and wide, perfect for 2.

Summary: It’s about a 5 minute cab ride to the train station. The area has a lot of restaurants and an excellent sushi which was the best.

Summary: Superior double room is spacious by Japanese standards. Comfortable & clean. Simple no frills hotel. Hotel is not near station. Taxi to & from morioka station is affordable, between ¥600 - ¥800 one way. Breakfast is surprisingly good. Especially their French toast & thick yogurt drink. Must try! There’s a restaurant opposite on the right that sells Nattosoba & gyoza. Highly recommend checking it out too.

Summary: I come to morioka often and this is so far now my favorite hotel. The room is big for Japan hotels, comfortable bed, clean room, clean bathroom and close to nice shops/restaurants. Staff knew enough English to help me which is very nice. Will definitely be going back.

Summary: At first, the Starbucks entrance confused me but I was helped. The location is convenient to everything and the staff was very nice. The only critique would be that there are no dressers, not sure if this is typical or if it depends on room selection. There was no iron, so I couldn't press my shirts. These are just minor issues that did not take away from my overall experience

Summary: Located near the Morioka Castle ruins, about a 10 minute walk. Nearby nightlife was fun but limited. If you arrive for the wanko soba challenge, it’s a 15 minute walk.
