Summary: Room direct above kitchen with noise and flavour, . It’s ok to pay a high price, but the product must be in line with the rate

Summary: Staff were fab, bar was nice & the surrounding area was picturesque. Local nightlife was non-existent though but that's hardly the hotel's fault.

Summary: The room was very basic, but clean. Room has no shower and toilet, you share those facilities with other guests on the floor !

Summary: Excellent location. Room was spacious, bathroom was clean and adequate but the shower was rather small, but expected as photos had shown. . Breakfast was excellent and the highlight was the lovely friendly lady that served breakfast.

Summary: It's Switzerland and affordable so the hostelly vibe is not unexpected. A bit tatty but serves the purpose. Staff are amazing and mostly speak perfect English. The ones who don't were patient with my poor understand of German! I didn't eat at night but the beer garden is nice. Breakfast was OK. Good secure bicycle storage. The town is OK and the lake is pretty.

Summary: Riding our bikes up the Rein this was a gem to find. Looked after our bikes, the host was fantastic and the room was great.

Summary: We stayed for 2 nights while visiting for a family reunion. The hotel is very basic but had everything we needed. The best thing about this property is the staff!! From check in to departure, everyone was outstanding. This property has a lovely outdoor eating area that serves good food and drink.The staff was so attentive to our large group, even readily engaging the kids. Best of all was Doris, the wonderful woman who served us breakfast each morning. It was like having a Mom looking after us. She made sure we were well fed especially on our departure day and even had our coffee preferences memorized by the second day. She was so kind, always smiling and so warm and friendly. We would stay again, just for Doris!! A wonderful stay.

Summary: Very helpful staff, all talked in English. Went out of the way to help me. Hotel very clean, very comfortable. Will be back next year.

Summary: Everything was great except for the insect that enters the room at night when you open the window. They don't do housekeeping daily but they do replace the towels. Overall a great stay as the area is so nice and there s a great playground next door.

Summary: It was a Classics festival weekend and despite being so busy, they made time for me, and service in the restaurant was excellent Only downside with shared bathroom and w.c. was the shower was on the floor below, not a great problem
