Summary: A fantastic location overlooking the river fork. Incredibly hospitable and professional staff tended to every question. Felt like a second home!

Summary: We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto.

Summary: This small hotel is perfect in every way. The room was surprisingly spacious relative to Japanese rooms, and the fall foliage from our balcony was lovely. But it was the sweetness of the staff that we will most remember. When an Uber failed to show, the manager came out and hailed a taxi for us. As we were leaving, I paused about a half block away to check Google maps; my wife noticed that the hotel staff that was seeing us of, remained outside to make sure that we were OK. What a lovely way to finish our visit to Japan!
