Positive: Very good breakfast, perfect self-checkin. Netflix available without need for your own account Has a hot tub, but was closed due to low season

Negative: Room is in need for some tender and upkeep. Minor things broken, bathroom needs improvements and repairs

Positive: Nice hotel located in a quiet area, with parking right at the door. The room had some charm and all the necessary amenities. There is an outdoor jacuzzi, although we didn’t end up using it. The price is not too high (and includes breakfast), which considering the standards in Iceland makes it a very good option.

Negative: We don’t really have anything negative to point out.

Positive: Waffles for breakfast were great + comfortable chair next to the window, where my wife spent whole 7 hours to read her book. Also, this is the place where we saw AURORA northern lights for the first time, we didn't thought we would with all the clouds and city lights, but we still accidentally did, which made our day !!

Negative: Make sure to ask about hot tubs in winter season, because we thought it was closed without asking, LOL.

Summary: Quiet place with nice view.

Positive: Good size rooms, comfortable beds, fairly modern facilities, hot tub was actually hot, toiletries came with both shampoo and conditioner (a rarity). Bathrobe, slippers all included. Lovely breakfast options.

Negative: Bathroom wall tiles were heavily stained in yellow. Likewise the floor tiles had been painted at some point and that was coming up too so didn’t look nice. Shower stall was also stained at the bottom. Bedding - there were black marks on the duvet cover, not sure if mould or something else but didn’t like sleeping with them. Other guests were exceptionally noisy past 1am so we didn’t get much sleep. Not sure if they were in the same corridor as us or in the bar area (meant to be closed at 11) were not sure but didn’t sleep well because of those girls giggling the entire night. Overall, this is my sixth stay at hotel north, I think the rooms need a lick of paint and a deeper clean and they’d be good to go again, and staff actually being in the building and removing guests from the bar area when it should be closed would be good
