Summary: I love this hotel! Can’t wait to return….. My last night however cigarette smoke from the casino made it up to my room on the 6 floor. Sorry that’s the only negative..

Summary: This is the 3rd or 4th time we've stayed here. The staff are always friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The elevator is a little slow but it's an old building with a lot of history, so it's a small inconvenience. We plan on staying again next year.

Summary: I had contacted the property and confirmed we would get a Denny’s grand slam for breakfast, that is the reason I chose this property over others. But when we checked in, they informed us it has been cancelled and we only got 2 $5 coupons for 4 for us. That will barely cover coffee for adults. Rooms are teeny tiny and there are no locks on bathroom doors. Not worth the price

Summary: We only stayed one night, but we really enjoyed the Hotel Nevada. The room was spacious, clean, and updated, and the kids loved the queen bunk bed. A landmark in Ely, the Hotel Nevada has a long history and we felt like we were a small part of its continuing legacy. Great staff and great location.

Summary: Staff are very rude here. We were at the check-in counter for 4 minutes waiting for the clerk to come check in us in, mind you she had looked at as three times and then said"oh do you need to be checked in?". Staff's boyfriends hang out at the bar and get drunk and the staff come and hang all over them in front of customers. Residents in this town think they can be rude to the visitors because most of them are coming to the prison to visit inmates so they treat the civilians like crap. You have to be a part of the in crowd to be liked in this town or at any of the establishments in this town.

Summary: Husband and I stayed 1 night and were very happy with Hotel Nevada. The front desk staff tried hard to accommodate my request for a quiet room and she was very welcoming. I paid a little more for an updated room and it was worth it. I hate hotel room carpet so the plank vinyl was appreciated and lovely. Room looked really fresh for the age of the hotel. Free drink upon arrival and Denny’s coupon for breakfast were an unexpected plus. Would recommend and stay again.

Summary: We were through Ely fifteen years ago and remember the hotel as cuter and more charming. We found our room to be clean and well stocked with K cups and shampoo/conditioner/etc; however, the air flow was not good. The air conditioner would stop for long intervals while it was still warm in the room, there are no fans, and the windows did not open. The free drinks we had were good and the price was right.
