Summary: Hotel Morgan is a beautiful spot to stay just a few minutes walk to WVU. Here are the things they could improve upon - more personable check-in. No conversation other than what was absolutely necessary then handed room keys and told where the elevator was. Nothing wrong, but simple and I had to come down, for instance, in search of ice. There is also no information in the room - no book, brochure, placard. Basic. (Answer for ice, by the way, is floors 3, 5, 7 but not near the elevators). As for room comfort - the room is beautiful. Water pressure in the shower was good! Room walls felt thin - I could hear someone snoring all night and that made it difficult to sleep. Room temp was difficult to manage. It was necessary to keep the window A/C unit running to maintain comfort. When it wasn't running, it got hot quick. So, as it was cycling through the night, it was hot/cold, hot/cold. Both my daughter and I did not sleep well because of this. The convenience of Hotel Morgan is the biggest selling point, in my opinion. I would stay here again if/when needed.

Summary: The air conditioner in two different rooms that I tried sounded like a plane taking off. On my second day there the power went out just in the hotel. All of the other nearby properties had their power on. I left after that. Also, there was a stream of weddings there, and the wedding party pretty much took over the lobby and the bar. So if you were in any of the common areas you were basically invading somebody’s wedding. All of that said, it was a charming hotel. And the staff was very friendly.

Summary: Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff! Wish the parking situation was better. Hotel needs its own parking lot! Bar and bartender were great! Breakfast was ok. Doors and handles in room need a little attention. The grimy. And under toilet and wall behind it need some attention. Has yellow build up. Aside from the things i find important as housekeeping business owner i will stay here again and again!

Summary: Great hotel. Very charming. NO Tv that worked. This was not corrected during our stay. Was told it was due to a power outage but that outage was rather brief. When I tried to call the front desk no one ever answered . When I finally went down to the desk, no one was there. I found a young guy whose job I don't know, but he couldn't do anything but give me an excuse.

Summary: Very quaint architecture. Had to leave very early and find my truck even though it was vallet parked and parking was 20.00. Beds were comfortable but one of the blinds were broke so i couldn't keep the street light out which made it difficult to sleep.
