Summary: I was warmly welcomed upon arrival. Smiles were abundant. I was shown around the property coffee and water available and beautiful areas to enjoy and relax My room was immaculate, the bathroom had all new and modern toilet sink, and shower. Along with an abundance of HOT water. Breakfast at the little restaurant next door was fresh and YUMMY. If I ever find myself in Ecuador again, Riobamba, I will stay at Hotel Montecarlo Riobamba again.

Summary: The hotel itself is great, super nice staff, comfortable room and good shower. The neighborhood lacks desirable food options. If you walk 5-6 blocks toward the train station you find good options but if you walk in any other direction I didn't find much.
