Summary: Beautiful country hotel by the sea. We had a double room with sea view and a superking bed. Whole room was stunning. We ate there in the evening and can honestly say it was amazing. We also had a very delicious afternoon tea, as it was our anniversary, and we had that on the terrace in gorgeous surroundings. The staff were very hardworking and attentive, which was appreciated. The only criticism we had was the the mattress was not great in our room. Im aware that people have different preferences, but thia felt like it had seen better days. Very firm and lots of lumps and bumps so I slept in a very comfy chair on our last evening there. We did speak to the hotel staff about this and they apologised and have referred it to management to sort out. One of the best hotels we've stayed in and even though the issue with the mattress was there, we would definitely stay there again perhaps in one of their juniors suites next time 😍looking forward to seeing you again

Summary: The hotel was clean and the staff very helpful. It was also lovely to have a breakfast freshly cooked rather than a ‘buffet style’.

Summary: The hotel is lovely, and the staff are very nice and helpful. The shower in our room was terrible though, so check that before you unpack. The water pressure very poor.

Summary: Room was clean and comfortable one problem was the bathroom there was a number of Brocken floor tiles the shower was poor water pressure not very good so had to stand right up against the wall to get wet . Needs a complete upgrade in my opinion. Bar and terrace area was a beautiful spot for a drink and something to eat . Staff very helpful. Great location nice walk to the pier and sea front

Summary: Hotel Miramar is a grand old hotel. It faces the ocean and the grounds are lovely. All of this part of England is a bit brown now because it has not rained in many days. Many of the older hotels do not have air conditioning, so open windows are the norm. The hotel appears to be in the midst of a renovation of sorts. many of the areas/rooms were updated, but some things were not addressed. They did not clean our balcony and there were several places that needed paint. The carpets in the main walking areas needed cleaning or replaced entirely. Sections of the exterior needed power washed and repaired. I am guessing that it will be marvelous in a few months.

Summary: The hotel is in a great location with views across to the sea from the terrace area. It's a very popular wedding venue but unfortunately the hotel put us in a room near to the main wedding reception rooms which meant we could hear the wedding disco very loudly, so we struggled to sleep! I did complain and was told the disco would finish at 12 midnight! Nothing more was done by the hotel which was disappointing. The bathroom had cobwebs around the toilet area, but otherwise was clean.

Summary: We have family in Bournemouth so visit regularly. The Miramar is our favourite hotel. Well located, good parking, very clean and lovely staff.

Summary: This hotel is lovely. Given its location i was expecting to see more life in the hotel seems to attract an elderly demographic. The staff are friendly but both pleasant and professional. The hotel is well kept, the beds are comfortable however its worth noting that not all rooms have air conditioning which has to be requested at the point of booking; and i am informed that air con is only for suites which made the stay a little uncomfortable in terms of the heat - but they did all that they could by providing fans and bottled water in the room. All in all, id come back again but maybe when its not 30 degrees outside. I am a sole traveler for busines and stayed in one of the single bed rooms. The bed was big, comfortable and the room was modern and well equipped.
