Positive: A well-known large hotel in Morondava The air conditioning is charged separately and is relatively expensive, so while the room rate itself looks quite cheap, it’s not extremely cheap overall. That said, the rooms are spacious private rooms, so the value for money is actually very good. They offer a free welcome drink (baobab juice), affordable ice cream, and the restaurant is open from 5:00 to 23:00, which is very convenient. Locals say the restaurant attached to the hotel isn’t the best in terms of taste, but personally, I was more than satisfied. It’s within walking distance to the beach, about 40 minutes to the Avenue of the Baobabs, and since it’s a large hotel, it feels safe and secure. Although the hotel has a Korean name, I didn’t see any Korean staff at the front desk. I wanted to drink in my room, and the staff kindly lent me glasses upon request, so they are quite flexible and accommodating. ⸻ Things to note: Restaurant → Breakfast service can be a bit slow, so be careful if you’re on a tight schedule. There is pre-prepared bread available, so I recommend that if you’re in a hurry. Also, there’s nowhere to eat at Morondava Airport, so keep that in mind. Wi-Fi → It depends on the room, so it’s better to request a room with a strong Wi-Fi connection. Mosquitoes → This is a malaria-risk area, but they place mosquito coils in the hallway at night, so it was comfortable. Shower → There is hot water, but the water pressure is a bit weak (still acceptable). SIM card → Yas works in Morondava and even around the Avenue of the Baobabs, so I recommend buying a Yas SIM in Antananarivo beforehand.

Positive: Good location, very nice staff. Tasty welcome drink. Good breakfast, very reasonable prices. The bed was comfortable for me but not so much for my boyfriend as he’s 195cm tall and the bed foot has a wooden uplift frame and no space to sleep full height.
Negative: We stayed for 2 nights and got street side room so it was quite noisy and hard to sleep. I guess if you get the courtyard side it must be better. Dinner food was average but maybe fit for the price

Positive: This was one of our favorite stays in Madagascar! We had a spacious room with a balcony, big comfortable beds and a nice bathroom.
