Summary: Lagon 2 is an excellent hotel and one of the best choices in Dakar. The location on the water is very beautiful and the hotel is very comfortable, clean and the staff are all very gracious and helpful. The air conditioning works well and the room is spacious. The breakfast is very good with beautiful views to start your day. The Lagon 1 restaurant nearby is excellent with very good seafood. From the hotel, you can walk along the water into the town and then Independence Plaza. I recommend Lagon 2 if you want a high quality hotel but not to be removed from the local culture by being in a resort.

Summary: Great location. Incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean. Friendly and nice staff. Great food at restaurant and bar. Only minor issues is the room. Balcony door didn't lock and tiolet seat was attached to toilet. But over all a good place for the money. I would definitely stay there again.

Summary: This was such a unique hotel. It's like a bost but not in super campy/cheesey way. You're right on the Atlantic ocean. The views are stunning. The food is great and so wonderful. Its in a part of town that is walkable to alot of other site.

Summary: Loved the location! Hotel is very well set up. Restaurant and bar food was very good and lots of choices. Staff we wonderful, friendly and helpful. Loved the private beach too.
