Positive: We had an amazing experience at Hotel La Cabana. The room was beautifully furnished, clean, comfortable with thoughtful details, like for example it’s the only hotel we know that provides milk in the room just in case we wanted it with our coffee. It has a lovely pool and garden overlooking the town of Berga and mountain ranges. The hotel is centrally located if you want to do hiking trails or visit other towns in Berguedà. The staff were super attentive, warm and anticipated our needs even before we thought of them. Josep is a star host, truly made us feel like it was a home away from home so much so that we were sad to leave. Queralt also took good care of us, from the room to the fabulous chocolate croissant she prepared. In fact, the hotel has the most spectacular breakfast spread I’ve seen in Catalonia which you could partake while enjoying the mountain and valley views. Free parking right beside the hotel. The restaurant is also quite amazing. We had all our meals there and everything was scrumptious! Our favorite hotel in the region. We will definitely go back!

Positive: Warm, friendly and caring welcome. Very clean and modern hotel room. Amazing views from the Montserrat room. High quality, large and beautifully laid out breakfast. The staff asked several times if we liked it, if everything was ok and if we wanted anything more. Even though the restaurant had already closed, we were prepared a delicious dinner made with high-quality ingredients. The owner-chef is a magician who deserves 5+ stars. So is his brother Josep who is also the owner. He is magician to meet and take care of customers. Customers always come first! Therapeutic, warm and cozy pool. Go to this hotel with excellent service and food! Moltes gràcies!

Positive: I recently stayed at La Cabana cozy hotel and had an overall pleasant experience. The location is excellent, close to the center of Berga. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with a good bed and decent space. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions. Breakfast was varied and tasty and buffe. Facilities like the pool were small but well maintained. The restaurant food the best! Local food and creative.... Water sports near by the dam Baells In general, I’d recommend this hotel. Good value for money and a reliable choice.

Positive: This hotel is exceptional and we were beyond delighted by every aspect of our stay. The owner personally greeted us in the car park when we arrived, introduced himself with warmth and kindness and helped us inside with our luggage. Immediately we knew we had arrived at a first class hotel. And it only got better. Our room was spacious and modern and full of added extras like a microwave, fridge, cutlery, chilled water, chocolates, slippers, robes… I could go on! Another bonus of this swish and sophisticated hotel is a modern and sleek indoor spa pool surrounded by beautiful gardens… so clean both inside and out you could eat your dinner off the floor. In fact the entire hotel is so clean and fresh and well cared for it’s hard to find fault in anything including the dining areas both inside and out. The staff ensure everything is sparkling. The service we got from this family run hotel was so good that we were so sorry we had not discovered it sooner! We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast on the veranda overlooking the valley and what a view! However the sight of our breakfast was hard to ignore either. So tasty and so much food for an excellent price. In fact it is the best value breakfast and tastiest we had during our two week vacation. Eggs, yoghurt, fresh orange juice and fruit, meats, cheese, bread, bacon… it went on and on! In fact we got so much we didn’t need lunch! Please give this hotel a try if you are in this area. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for having us. You are wonderful hosts with a superb hotel and excellently run with guests always put first.

Positive: One of the most relaxing weekend we have had. Hotel staff is the most welcoming, room was extra large, very comfortable, very clean, and offering wonderful views over Berga (city centre 10min away by foot). Breakfast was excellent. Parking space in front of the entrance, very convenient. The hotel is actually primarily a restaurant offering higher standard and delicious local cuisine.
