Positive: Faded grandeur, once a pretty fancy hotel it is now a bit tatty around the edges but that is part of it's charm, lovely big rooms. It's a long way from the station, don't try to walk it if your bag is heavy, just get a taxi. Good ramen place next door. There is a shuttle bus to take you back to the station on departure.
Negative: No wifi in the rooms? Seriously it's 2023, really not that hard to organise I think.
Summary: I enjoyed my stay, staff were helpful.
