Positive: Hotel Isidora is about 14 km from Alexandroupoli, so for me it worked mainly as an overnight stop while travelling through the area. The hotel is quite isolated, and although it was advertised on Booking.com as having its own taverna, this was unfortunately not available during our stay. We therefore had to drive into Alexandroupoli for dinner which is 14Km away, because there were no supermarkets or shops at all nearby the hotel. On the positive side, there is plenty of parking, which was very convenient, and the room was clean and comfortable. If I badly needed another overnight stop in this area, I would stay here again. However, as the price was comparable to what I paid in Thessaloniki, next time I would probably simply drive Thessaloniki–Istanbul in one day, which is perfectly manageable.

Positive: Room price is cheaper than what you find in Alexandropuli - farther from the city but it was not a problem for us Good for a one night stay Bathroom is spacious enough Friendly staff

Positive: It is easy to find, clean and personal is friendly
Negative: The rooms have a very special smell, the emergency signs are so bright that one has to turn to the other side to sleep. Bathroom is functional but old. Dogs, pigeons and neighbour keep you compagny till late and early again...
