Summary: Great hotel in Fussen. The location is perfect with many restaurants and shops within a short walk. The castles are a very short drive away approximately 2 miles. The restaurant bar are very nice and quaint. The rooms are little on the smaller side but very well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The shower in the bathroom is a little funky but that may be more of a European thing. The orientation of the shower head is in the middle of the tub instead of at the head or foot of the tub so it's not a typical shower from US standards. It's a minor point and it would not prevent me from staying here again. I would definitely come back to Hotel Hirsch

Summary: Hotel was great. We were welcomed warmly and she gave us plenty of tip for our stay. Breakfast was worth it and we enjoyed our quick stay in Fussen.
