Summary: We stayed for one week in this lovely apartment. The place was super clean in a great location (walk to historic town center in 15min) with all amenities needed available. The space was great for our family of three and would have also worked for a family with two children. A playground and the lake are right around the corner. Mrs and Mr Demmler were wonderful hosts and very attentive and helpful in giving tips on what to do in the area. We absolutely recommend, give top ratings, and would return any time.

Summary: The apartment was so cozy, warm and comfortable, we loved it. We stayed over Christmas and they had decorated the apartment. It was just as shown in pictures; it feels quite spacious. Beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and modern and had spots for everything. There were beautiful views. Great neighborhood, very quiet at night, easily walkable to the town center. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Franz greeted us on arrival and was very kind and had great recommendations. It was a great experience, we would love to go back.

Summary: We were looking for a quiet week after driving down the Romantische Straße. And this was perfect. A lovely apartment and very helpful and friendly hosts. Lots to do and of course the castles. Even had a swim in a lake - Schwansee. I’m surprised more British tourists don’t come to this perfect location .

Summary: We stayed here for 10 days with our toddler and 4 month old baby and really enjoyed our stay! The apartment was clean and spacious with beautiful views. The location was very convenient, close to the lake and children’s playground, walking/biking trails and a pedestrian path that takes you straight into the downtown area. Neuschwanstein castle is also just a short 10 minute drive. Franz is a delightful host and was very welcoming and easy to communicate with - would definitely stay again!

Summary: We spent a lovely week in the appartment in February. The appartment was warm, comfortable and spacious. It was a great location, close to the lake and a ten minute walk into the town centre. There were beautiful views. Franz was very welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Summary: Lovely top floor apartment in Fussen area. Franz was very helpful and a great host. Highly recommend this apartment. I just wish we were there longer and in the warmer weather. Be aware the washer and dryer are not in the apartment, but Sonja and Franz will take care of laundry for you for a fee. The location is an easy walk into town, takes 15 min or so. Fussen is a lovely town to visit and a good base for visiting Neuschawnstein Castle. (The tour of the castle leaves something to be desired. The Kristall Therme was great to soak and view the castle.

Summary: Fussen is a "must see" in our opinion (4 adults) and this apartment was more than adequate for our needs. The bedrooms were spacious with one of the bedrooms having a private door going onto an outside balcony, the other having a large window for mountain views(Castle Views). The main living area is bright and open with vaulted wood beam ceilings and a door accessing the outside balcony. Plenty of windows also provide light. The kitchen provides everything you could possibly need. The bathroom is extremely large and provides a tub/shower and twin sinks. A warm greeting will await you and is extended throughout your stay; not just upon your arrival. The entire Demmler family is very accommodating and will definitely make you feel "at home". The town of Fussen is charming and only a short walk (10 minutes) from the apartment. There you will find plenty of restaurants (and shopping for the women). There is also a large grocery store, within a 10 minute walk or a very short drive. Thanks again for all the help and information, we would definitely stay here again, Franz and Family!

Summary: We loved our stay at the Demmler's apartment! It was the perfect place to spread out, recharge, relax and enjoy the quiet location. It was just a short 10-minute walk to town along a lovely path. I really encourage you to stay here because it is so quiet and also a great location, with panoramic views of the alps, and of Neuschwanstein castle from the apartment. We kept the doors and windows open when we were inside, because the birds sing sweetly all day long! I'm very grateful for the hospitality and generosity of our hosts too; they enriched our stay even more. Thank you for your care and kindness, Franz and Sonja!
