Summary: Clean and great. But only one negative point, the refrigerator did not work.

Summary: My wife and I specifically chose this hotel because we wanted peacefulness which we sort of got. The staff was very courteous and helpful, but not in all areas. I reported that the reading light and receptacle beside the bed did not function, ( was not repaired after three nights) nor did the refrigerator work, nor did the Mercedes Benz passenger van meant to provide local transportation, (we walked to/and from the train station) advertised in their online QR CODE description. Let’s just say their marketinf is misleading Having stated my disappointments let me express some positives. The room was huge, not necessarily user useful due to its size and unusual layout, the bathroom extremely large albeit with a microscopic shower with zero amenities aside from the usual body/shampoo wash. Not an extra tooth brush or shower hat - bar soap - nada. Let’s just say - it’s not typical hotel bc attention to detail. But - the staff in the downstairs bar area, especially László and Dorka…. They really are great. They made our visit gently enjoyable. Our deep gratitude to them.

Summary: Very beautiful location in Göd, Hungary surrounded by mountains and valleys. Views galore. The hotel’s recent renovations inside and outside are a lovely reflection of the history of this region. Recently reopened in May 2024. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and very clean. Top notch spa facilities available along with two pools. Staff were friendly and always ready to help when needed. The only downside was the buffet. The wait staff were very good but the food choices and presentation need attention. However, since breakfast and dinner buffet was included in the price, it’s overall a very good value. While mostly geared toward the 55 crowd, the location was easily accessible to the train station. Fast trains get you essentially everywhere so having a base to go from is an ideal option. For now this is a four star for me with a definite luxury resort five potential.
