Summary: The Gaston Hotel - The Positives we had a great time the staff was extremely polite and ready to help. The cleaning service was prompt and very good. They had a lifeguard on duty. Both lifeguards asked us if we knew how to swim and made sure that everyone was safe. There is a parking lot on site (20 a night). This hotel was a good hotel for a family. The Negatives. The best way to say is this is a great 2.5 star hotel. The desk and chair in our room were broken on arrival (the did come promptly and glue it back together). The shower head was cracked. The beds were hard and pillows flat. Breakfast was normal. The website claims fresh squeeze orange juice etc. This wasn't the case. The pools lining is coming off on the bottom. The pool closed at 18:30. I had to give a 5 euro deposit for an extra key. If we needed a late check out it was an extra 20 euro. We were expecting a 4 star hotel and being summer we paid 4star prices. I would have been extremely happy and would recommend this hotel if it was 80-100 a night and if they would take off the 4star rating.

Summary: Upon our arrival it seemed a very calm and quiet hotel. The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful and we were checked-in very quickly. Our room was lovely and very clean, (the decor was a bit dated) but we felt comfortable and safe. We had a balcony and we could see the sea either side of the hotel that is built in front of Hotel Gaston. The pool is lovely and we felt very relaxed around there. The buffet breakfast is great - plenty of choice of food and drinks - excellent. There are a number of restaurants nearby which was good. The hotel is about a mile and a half away from Rimini Town. It takes about 40 minutes to walk there or you can catch the local bus along the main road. Overall, it is a lovely hotel but the rooms could be updated. We had a lovely stay at this hotel.

Summary: We had very nice stay in Hotel Gaston, stuff was very friendly and helpful in reception. The location is also great 2 min walk from the beach surrounded with lots of cafes and restaurants. It would be better if breakfast had diverse of the food, it seemed bit poor but still tasty. So for the short holidays it’s perfect to stay
