Positive: We had a really lovely stay at Hotel Euphrat while we explored around Nemrut and the surrounding sites. The photos don't do the place justice. The room was very cozy, the bed and pillows were perfect, the buffet dinner and breakfast were delicious and plentiful, and the location was both beautiful as well as extremely convenient for exploring around and for sunrise or sunset at nemrut. The staff was very helpful and made sure we were taken care of. I would highly recommend staying here if you plan to explore the area!

Positive: The beds were comfortable, the views from the hotel were lovely and, for once, we weren't woken by the Iman calling people to pray. It is also probably the nearest place to Nemrut, which enabled us to beat the crowds.
Negative: Do not follow their map. The hotel location is in the wrong place. It is another 6kms or so up the road. Road to the hotel is a bit crappy up. The main guy at reception was friendly enough but the other guy was a comolete grump. When we arrived, after a long day of travelling, we just wanted to have a nice hot shower and rest.... only for them to tell us that there was no hot water at night Absolutely ridiculous. Terrible way of running a business. Running an accommodation business that controls when you can have a shower. Talk about stinginess. We were very frustrated as this is what we like to end our long days travelling with, a hot shower. There was also a dreadful smell of shit when we arrived in our room. The outdoor pool was full of crap in it. They also turned off the electricity at night, exactly when we needed it for charging our devices. The bathroom floor was covered in water when we woke up in the morning. I have a feeling that this is why the room smelt so badly, sewage overflow. The shower was atrocious. The showerhead didn't have a decent spray. It just poured out like a flimsy hose. The temperature was very temperamental, going between extremely hot to extremely cold very often. I couldn't even tolerate the hot sessions, and I love my hot showers. Room temperature is a bit cold. Breakfast was okay. Nothing special. Owner decided to smoke inside when we were all trying to enjoy our breakfast. Disgusting. He also was charging for water at breakfast, something he should already have provided at breakfast. This "man" is a complete Scrooge.

Positive: A simple hotel above Karadut village. The staff were friendly and we had a choice of rooms as they weren’t busy. The heating worked well as it was cold the first night. The shower was good and the beds comfortable. Parking is a little gravelly but level so no problem for our motorcycles. Breakfast and dinner is buffet style and very tasty. There was a bus group the second day and breakfast was a bit cleaned out, so sooner is better.

Positive: Large room with fridge and kettle; renovated shower; rooms are nicer than how they look online; quiet; large breakfast room/ lounge area with fireplace and mountain view with coffee, tea, and juice available all day; friendly and helpful staff; strong internet connection; delicious and varied breakfast buffet with cheeses, eggs, various spreads and salad; delicious and varied dinner buffet available for 500 TL per person, including drinks, mana maze salads and two meat dishes (and in fact there is no other place to eat or even buy food); closest hotel to Nemrud Dag (9km); outdoor swimming pool in summer
Negative: Note that the buffets are only offered if there is a large enough group staying at the property. If not the staff serve a limited version of both, still very good and worth the cost but not as much variety. A few repairs are necessary outside—lose railings, broken stairs—but these are minor things; coffee at breakfast is instant, and on our second day they had none at breakfast even though I told the staff the day before that the container was empty—best to bring your own just in case ; note that the rooms are chilly even into spring , especially the floor, even with heat on because the building is made of stone—bring slippers with a thick sole and heavy sleepwear (there are extra blankets)
