Positive: Nice big rooms. Reasonably clean. Friendly staff. The restaurant in the hotel was good. The dinner (we tried only fish/ prawns) was good and all the dishes we tried were tasty. Breakfast was basic (in line with expectations though) but good. We ate dosas that were made to order and served at the table and they were really good.

Negative: AC remote for one of two rooms was not working and it was late night when they realized there was a mix up and the remote belonged to another room. The person at reception was helpful and he was the one who discovered the mistake. We were told that there was no manager available at night and the maintenance department shift was over. There was no tissue box in our rooms. This is basic and there should be a tissue box in all rooms irrespective of any room category. Overheard shower was useless as there was no pressure and hot water was just trickling. The hand held shower worked fine and we managed without too much difficulty.
