Positive: Only a couple of minutes from the lake and a swimming spot. Rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great! Would definitely recommend

Positive: Locatio Location Location. There cant be many hotels anywhere in the world with better views than this. Fantastic. The owner and her staff were brilliant , always smiling and helpful. The main hotel building is old but well maintained and has a charm about it that reminds you of times gone by, the new building, (1970's) which we stayed in was, like the main building spotlessly clean. The bedroom was large, bed comfortable and the view .... The restaurant was a bonus, fantastic food, the village is small and only 2 other places to eat, but the quality here made the decision easy where to eat.
Negative: Some people might say the facilities aren't brand new and modern, but the sort of people that say that shouldnt be allowed to stay here. This hotel is quality.

Positive: Lovely views across the lake. Plenty of parking, fantastic restaurant, great continental breakfast.
Negative: Overlooks a railway line and on a busy road. If driving, it's on the lake-side of the road, if you miss it it's pretty much impossible to turn around so keep your eyes peeled.

Positive: An outstanding view on mountains and the lake from the room. A huge balcony to sit and enjoy this view. A very good and comparatively cheap breakfast. A beautiful terrace of the restaurant. When we asked, we were given a special local discount card for entertainments in the region around (Canton Uri)
Negative: TV was not working, and we were not proposed any kind of small discount or some complimentary for that. Very expensive coffee when we took it during the day.

Positive: The location next to the lake is ideal.
Negative: We were cold in the room and they did nothing, not even telling us that they did not have any heater at our disposal. On the contrary, they told us that it was not cold. And it is true that during the day it is not cold but at night it is. The coffe and tee very bad. There is no tea water heater
