Positive: I’m still dreaming about this place..The views were out of this world, the staff was amazing and the food was delicious. But seriously the Views! I’ve stayed at a lot of amazing places but this stay was one of my absolute favorites. Having the mountain to yourself after the chair lifts stop for the night was perfection and waking up to a gorgeous sunrise and an insane cloud inversion was icing on the cake. I cannot wait to book this place again.

Negative: Nothing. It was perfect

Summary: Out of this world mountain views overlooking lake Lucerne.

Positive: the hotel is cosy, comfortable and the best part is the location, the views are incredible.The hotel staff are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is very good too.

Negative: I had emailed the hotel twice asking for the time of the last cable car, but I didn't receive any response.That was very inconvenient for us as we were visiting Europe for the first time. They shld have clearly communicated the direction, cable car times etc to enable first time visitors, as Fronalpstock is very remote and insufficient information is available on the net

Positive: We arrived when it was beginning to snow at the top of the mountain... the ride up was a little chilly but thankful for the covered lift. The hotel was quiet but probably because no one was up there at that time due to the later hour and no visibility. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was pleasant. Woke up early the next morning and hiked to the other lift and rode down. Our stay was great.

Negative: Only complaint was lack of visibility at the top-which is obviously not there fault at all. Would have loved to know it was snowing at the first lift and we could have grabbed some extra stuff for our packs. We were told a the 2nd lift it was snowing further up.
