Summary: The room was large, beautiful & very comfortable. The staff was wonderful! The room was very clean & bath necessities provided. However, there were no utensils nor sponge or soaps in the kitchen area. There were no instructions as to how to operate the stove &, upon inspection, I found that the stove & microwave were unplugged. Even then, I couldn't figure out how to get the stove hot. In addition, the refrigerator was very noisy & I had to unplug it in order to sleep. Also, there are lots of little lights on from the wall plugs, the AC & the phone. The curtains also let a lot of light into the room.

Summary: The hotel has been tastefully updated but it has maintained is old world charm. It is nicely situated near the action in Poblado and the streets are safe for walking even at night
