Summary: All about location. Right downtown Chico. Always a good stay at the Diamond. Full breakfast included. Coffee was real good.

Summary: Great location for attending CSU events and in downtown. Parking easy. Ate breakfast twice. Scrambled eggs, french toast, fruit salad. Nothing fancy but cooked to order and satisfactory. There are a lot of good breakfast places nesrby including Moms which makes for lots of table availability. $1 mimosas with meal. Bar drinks and wine good. With both restaurant and bar, don’t be in a hurry.

Summary: This hotel is an affordable gorgeous oasis of historical re-creation of early life in Chico, CA. It’s within walking distance of shops, restaurants, Bidwell Park, and the beautiful campus of Chico State. I was in room 209 which allowed me to see my vehicle in the parking structure through my window. The room was warm because the AC struggled to keep the air cool, but I put the AC on 62 degrees with a high fan speed and it kept things comfortable most of the time.
