Positive: Location, staff, breakfast! I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Deniz! They helped me to find a private taxi to go and explore Gallipoli Peninsula and ANZAC, when I accidentally booked a tour in Turkish language. I had an amazing view from the balcony and everything was working perfectly in the room, from TV to A/C, from hot shower to comfortable beds. Breakfast was amazing and huge with a beautiful view.

Summary: Highly recommend! Everybody’s very kind, helpful, respectful and simply amazing!

Positive: Great location in centre off town. Room overlooking the water. Had an elevator for ease of taking luggage up to room. Breakfast on top floor overlooking water

Negative: Breakfast had limited choice of food. Would recommend serving fruit as an added option.

Positive: Great location in the wonderful township of Eceabat. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast is standard turkish breakfast food, and the room has a great view across the harbour. Bed was comfortable. Little balcony with full length window and door, so plenty of natural light. Parking available in the street out front (if available), otherwise in the street behind the hotel.

Negative: The showers are old style, with low water pressure and occasionally lukewarm water. The tap didn’t fit into the wall bracket, so standing under the shower is challenging. There is no jug for tea/coffee, so BYO if you’re planning a longer stay. WiFi sometimes buffering at night, but mostly okay.

Positive: Room was spacious and had a nice view over the waterfront area and sea. The hotel has a dated charm to it and everything works well enough. There are a couple of street parking spots right outside the door.

Negative: Everything was good for the price and type of hotel.
