Positive: I had a room at front with view of the ferry terminal and the Dardanelles. Staff were very helpful, though most with very minimal English. On the side of the strait with access to the war graves and memorials. Eceabat is a quiet village but plenty of restaurants along the foreshore. DO NOT MISS the excellent feature on the foreshore with bronze sculptures showing that the Turkish and allied troops fought in trenches only 8 metres apart. Also has a walk through representation of the Dardanelles, with relief sculptures showing where mines were laid, and the towns either side of you. Eceabat was where my Anzac Day Dawn service tour commwnced, a short walk from the hotel. Also just a very pleasant ferry ride across the Dardanelles to the larger town of Çanakkale.
Negative: Stair access only.
