Summary: Our stay at Hotel Da Gigi was a pleasant experience. We used it as a home base to explore the surrounding area. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, we enjoyed the convenience of dining in their restaurant a few times. Excellent quality and service. We were very happy with our stay!

Summary: Most helpful and hardest working people you ever saw. Arrived late at the hotel, were given a chance to order a delicious steak dinner in the surprisingly fancy restaurant with very professional and hardworking staff. After working in the restaurant until at least 10:30 pm the owner got up at 4:00 to make us fresh croissants with jam inside for our breakfast. She is amazing! Room was (and this is rare!) better than the photos -- and super clean -- and in the morning we opened our shutters to find a bucolic scene of a pond right outside. Very convenient location off highway between Venice and Trieste/Ljubjiana but should be a destination in and of itself. Charming spot.
