Positive: Great location right in the old town, close access to everything. Wifi kept dropping out, you have to constantly reconnect, not reliable. There are 5 parking spots available, first in gets priority. There was no hair-dryer in my room. Walls are thin, you can hear the people talking next door. Minimal road traffic. Another pillow would have been nice. Heating works well. Great shower. Great breakfast.

Positive: We only spent a night there so we can't say much. The location is pretty good, there are good restaurants and cafe nearby (2 mins walk). The self check-in process is not complicated. And the hotel has the basic necessities (except toothbrush & toothpaste).

Negative: The mattress is for us a little too soft, but this is just our personal preference :)

Positive: I used to be stationed in Germany many years ago. I booked this hotel on the reviews of the breakfast...and it was the most amazing German breakfast...exactly how I remembered. The assortment of meats, cheeses, breads, fruits, cereals, jams, drinks (and an egg, cooked to your liking) The owner spoke excellent English, and spoke with all of his guests. Amazing customer service. The check in was automated, and very easy to use. When you make your reservation, screenshot the code that is sent to you. Very easy process. The buildings in Rothenburg are very old. The room we had was updated...but understand none of them are going to be modern. (When I lived in Germany, bathrooms used to be down the hall, and shared.) There is also a restaurant down the side street that has the most amazing dinner. Great location, great service, great value, and an even better breakfast.

Summary: After hiking/traveling Germany by train, this was a welcomed memory of other trips to Rothenburg.

Positive: Very cozy and quirky room, close to pedestrian streets in the old city. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The self check in was extremely easy to use and offers you the flexibility, in case of late arrival.

Positive: Lovely hotel in the heart of the old town of Rothenburg so all the sightseeing can be done on foot. There is not a 24/7 open reception but a cash machine like key dispersal machine which works just fine. Another advantage are the parking spaces to the back of the hotel though there are only a few. Our room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet had everything you could need and bread especially was very tasty. If I come again, I'll stay again.

Negative: As it is an old house the staircase can be a little challenging however this is more than compensated by the quaint charme of the place.
