Positive: A beautiful place surrounded by a cacao plantation, very peaceful and unique. Despite our delay on the way, we arrived around midnight, the host was still there to welcome us, which we really appreciated. The tour of the plantation was lovely and very informative.

Negative: There were barking dogs during the night, which disturbed our sleep. The chocolate making workshop was a bit disappointing.

Summary: A beautiful and unique stay with a very kind host.

Positive: Staying at Hotel Cacaobetulia is truly a magical experience we didn't want to leave. From the moment you arrive you feel you are in a very special place. From the hospitality and kindness of the staff, the delicious food and stunning views. It's a place to disconnect and reconnect with yourself. We did the Cacao Tour, chocolate making experience, and horse riding, and every single one was spectacular. The best part was we could bring our chocolate home! We got to see monkeys, which were super special on a guided Cacao farm tour by Pablo. Do not hesitate to book a stay here. You will only regret not staying longer.

Positive: The whole stay was absolutely fantastic. The farm is amazing and the people are super nice. The food is very good. We got to see how they process cacao, and they made bonbons for us. If you are interested in organic farming, land restoration, biodiversity, nature photography, etc, this is the place for you.

Summary: Fabulous weekend getaway to enjoy nature and good company.
