Positive: Amazing stay! Host Abbas was super helpful; he arranged our Rangdum homestay, sorted Aryan Valley permits, and even got us bus tickets to Srinagar. The room was decent, clean, and comfy a great experience overall.

Positive: This is a very basic, budget-friendly hotel to spend one night while travelling from Leh to Srinagar. If you're simply looking for an inexpensive place to sleep before continuing your journey, it serves that purpose. Nothing more.
Negative: In my opinion, the hotel is below basic in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and facilities. My advice would be to avoid spending the night in Kargil altogether if your itinerary allows. Along the road between Leh and Kargil there are beautiful villages where you can find homestays and enjoy a much more authentic experience. If you do decide to stay in Kargil, I recommend paying a little more for a cleaner and more comfortable hotel.

Positive: Stayed 3 nights at this budget guesthouse and it was solid for the price. Clean, simple room with good bed and decent shower. Central location was perfect. The manager (abbas?) was the highlight — super friendly and helpful. Fixed my late arrival, gave great local tips, sorted the Wi-Fi fast, and even helped with food. Made the stay feel welcoming. Great value if you want attentive service without fancy prices. Would return!

Positive: Neat, clean room, away from the city crowd, easy access to Leh highway. Abass is a nice guy; he helped us a lot arranging taxis and making permits for Ladakh.
