Positive: We stayed for six nights, and everything was excellent. Location, cafe bar and restaurant all were up to our expectations. Breakfast was well presented, and had a good variety, even for us we stayed for a week. Maybe one more choice of jam, but just as a recommendation, not a complaint.

Negative: Nothing really. Everything was very good.

Positive: we are very please to stay in Balkan Hotel. The Hotel was at the opposite of Hotel Moskva therefore the location of the hotel was excellent and it was very close to Kneza Mihaila street. the breakfast was very good and our room was large enough. we stayed 4 people ( mom dad and 2 kids) in the same room and it was not uncomfortable. there was a king size bed and a sofa bed at the room and the room was separated with a wall which provides some privacy. The bathroom was also well-designed with both a shower and a bathtub. The view of our room was great because we were able to see Hotel Moskva and the street view from the windows of our room.

Negative: The first night the room was a bit cold, but ı guess we couldn't fine tunes the air condition. After the first night we did not experience any issues with the room temperature.

Negative: 100 euro deposit was unexpected to have at checkin date. such information should be usually written with larger letters so everybody see it clearly. here it is written as a small blocl somewhere also, a very specific smell in the rooms - please dont do any smell for purpose. it was like odecolon everywhere. rooms should be clean and no smell, it is good to have just a little of fresh smell, which is hardly recognisable, but not more
