Positive: Clean and modern. Next to the train station

Negative: They staff wanted to be helpful, but needed translation app for most questions. Didn’t really know about tourism options. Willing to call a cab and recommended a great place for Japanese seafood and sushi.

Summary: I might stay again for location, but unhappy I had to pay for a 2nd night to use the room for 4 extra hours.

Positive: One of the male staff at the hotel was helpful and sincere in helping us get a cab to the ferry terminal, unfortunately we didn't catch his name.But when our ferry was cancelled due to bad weather, we decided to book the same hotel again because this staff gives the sunshine of the day, plus the location was great, near the train station and walkable distance to the shopping mall. Best of all there is a microwave, water dispenser, paid washing machine and dryer in the hotel. Stay comes with a simple breakfast to start the day.

Negative: However, there was another staff that was not that friendly and impatient. We are a bit delayed on our check-out due to packing, he rang the in-room phone to rush us as we are walking out of the room. When handing the key to him, he just got that get out of here look! Who wants to delay? Can't you exhibit a bit of kindness and patience? You are not on full house demand?

Positive: this hotel was very accommodating. my reservation was for a day later but they very kindly changed by reservation was the day in turned up. it was comfortable, the Internet very reliable and clean. the Japanese breakfast was a bonus.

Positive: Located conveniently less than 5 minutes walk from Higashi Maizuru Station. Shopping Mall across the street, with lots of local and western style eateries within 15 minutes walk from the hotel. Complimentary breakfast is included with all rooms. Many excellent local Japanese dishes along with rice, breads and soups. Room is immaculate , with standard clean bathroom. Highly recommended!
