Summary: Stayed at Hotel Abi d'Oru for 6 night late August/early September and had a wonderful experience. The place is gorgeous, close to the beach and the staff is super attentive. I enjoyed the restaurant the most, starting with a fantastic breakfast, with a great selection of fresh ripe fruit pastries and egg dishes, and usually ending with dinner there. The restaurant at the hotel is absolutely superb with a new menu every day and fantastic pasta dishes with truffles and ragouts and stuff. After trying to have dinner outside the hotel, a few nights, we ended up reverting to having dinner at the hotel as the food there was massively superior to other places. I wanted to mention how attentive, welcoming and friendly the staff was, in particular at the restaurant as well as the cleaning staff as it truly contributed to a great experience. Finally we also had a fantastic experience at the GUARINO shop at the hotel where the selection of clothing was absolutely superb and the salesperson, Constantina was just so nice and passionate about her job, often recommending pieces of clothing that we ended up buying, even calling my friend with a lot of affection in her eyes, a Bellissimo Bambini... In short it was a wonderful experience all around.

Summary: Arrived at the hotel, and the staff was exceptional. From the moment we got to the front desk, we were welcomed with warm smiles and accommodating service.. The property was gorgeous. Each meal was delicious. The room was exceptional with a view of the sea. The beach was beautiful and the water was crystal clear. Cappuccino in the morning on the front deck was one of our favorite things to do to start our day. This hotel did not disappoint. Sardinia is magnificent. The concierge was eager to help. I would recommend this hotel. Nicolo in the lobby bar was friendly and full of information to make sure we had an exceptional visit. We even purchased beautiful clothes in the boutique at the hotel. The service couldn’t have been better.

Summary: Everybody is super polite. Hotel is super clean and it has a very good beach. Hotel is very suitable for families with kids. Food is tasty but options are usually same and repetitive. I recommend not to purchase the half board option. I do not think it makes a difference yo purchase it in advance.

Summary: The beach and having assigned lounge chairs and umbrella that were waiting for us each day of our stay was so nice. There are plenty of dining areas but there could be more of a diversified menu selection between them. The food was very good especially the breakfast buffet offerings and the wait staff was excellent!
