Summary: My favorite hotel on our three-week vacation in Brazil. The facilities and setting are reminiscent of a Bali villa. Gorgeous pool area and outdoor seating / dining. Lots of little nooks and crannies where you can sit and read or talk quietly. Beautiful local art (sculptures and paintings) all around the property. Good breakfast buffet, and the dinner we ate there was also delicious. It feels like you are in the middle of the jungle, but in fact, you are right in the middle of historic Olinda with everything in easy walking distance. The staff were polite and helpful. Top notch stay!

Summary: The location was excellent. The hotel grounds are spectacular. Everything was very clean and the service was great. The rooms need some upkeep-- the bed was lumpy and needs to be renewed. The food at the restaurant was excellent and varied. The pool area is gorgeous.
