Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. A two story home built in the 30s, was the mill managers home with a big kitchen. Enjoy the front porch or take a nice walk down to the Willamette river (You. need to drive to the other end of the property to do this but just ask and we will give you directions.) This property is centrally located on hwy 58 east end of Oakridge abutting forest service land and on the way to many trails rivers, lakes, waterfalls and the mountain. about 30 min from Willamette pass The closest rental to the mountain. there are steep steps to the 2nd floor.

Summary: This is a cute vintage location in a tree covered area. We enjoyed that it was just down the way from a small store, where they have freshly made food. The hot tub was very clean, and it was perfect because you were around trees and could hear the river bubbling, very relaxing. The host was extremely easy to contact, and the shower pressure was AMAZING! Perfect get away to celebrate my birthday :)

Summary: The property itself is beautiful and has an amazing view! The house is a cute cozy house with cute décor. We stayed for 1 night and enjoyed it. During the day there is shots due to a near by shooting range and it’s right off the highway but that didn’t bother us. The house appeared clean yet wasn’t where it really mattered there was hair in the shower and it could use a really good deep clean. The bed had hair and we chose to use our own bedding. There is no microwave which was very inconvenient and no dishwasher. There is no screens in the window and a lot of bugs outside yet this wasn’t a problem for us. The hot tub was very nice and clean yet the jets didn’t work but that didn’t bother us. I imagine the view of the stars are very nice on clear nights. Just to mention the house doesn’t have the best lighting yet this didn’t bother us. The stairs are very steep and lead to a cute attic add on which has 1 small bed room and a kids room. There was lots of things for entertainment and has something for all ages. 2 T.V.s, a record player w/records, games, and toys. Overall it was a great house and a great visit and we plan to go back.

Summary: The cottage was quite spacious and had a lot of great ammenities. The place was very clean. The place was warm and cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone staying in the Oakridge area :)

Summary: Great little house. Very clean. Comfy bed. Was worried about street noise from the hwy being kinda close but barely noticed it. Tv downstairs only has a dvd player with a small library of movies. Kitchen nice could use a microwave. Good water pressure in the shower nice hot water. Enjoyed the hottub out back. Not sure how to get to the river it was really far down an embankment. Sounded lovely though. Everything you need but could use some tweaking. Overall pretty nice.

Summary: Nice little place close to town and outdoor activities. No wifi was a downer, but doable. Upstairs may be a bit uncomfortably hot in the summer time. All-in-all a fine place.

Summary: The house was clean on the inside but the outside and surrounding area was a dump. Trash and crap everywhere. The house is still being remodeled but the AC worked great. There’s no cell service, cable, internet, or landline. There’s no river access. We didn’t use the hot tub because it looked dirty and not maintained.

Summary: Our vrbo reservation was “lost” by manager. Rental was not prepared for guests. We arrived late in evening from out of town and had to make it work for the night. Manager did reach out to us via camera and text. A refund was offered but not delivered upon. This property is at best a “work in progress”. Roof was covered by a tarp in places. Driveway was muddy with a man lift parked in drive. Dust and dirty floors. I’m not able to recommend the property rental especially as our vrbo reservation wasn’t accounted for.
