Positive: - great communication & directions before - easy to add extras (late check out & fizz on arrival) - met the host- very friendly and gave good advice on the hot tub - private location on the estate - hardly saw anyone else - location and accommodation as advertised - beautiful view, and a friendly peacock who kept visiting - perfectly appointed facilities -- small but everything we needed

Negative: Map/directions to the pub weren't 100% easy BUT with phone GPS to help it was a nice walk

Positive: One of the best stays of my life! Definitely an experience to live at least once, everything was more than perfect, stunning; we spent a couple of nights and it was an amazing winter escape, the crispy autumnal landscapes and vineyards around, the sunrise through the windows of the cabin, the sunset from the warm hot tub while enjoying a nice glass of wine. No objections - couldn’t have asked for a better weekend away. Definitely recommended!

Negative: There’s nothing we didn’t like!

Positive: A private, well appointed property with beautiful views and the added bonus of a hot tub. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the owners make you feel welcome and are on hand if you need them. I found the bed to be very comfortable and left feeling well rested. I travelled with my little dog who enjoyed lots of walks around the property. We also left site to visit one of the many local pubs. But mostly we enjoyed the nice weather and sitting outside until late, from sunrise to sunset it’s a gorgeous place to stay and with no noise or light pollution it was a memorable birthday drinking wine, listening to music and looking at the starry night sky. I don’t often go back to places twice, but I will definitely be going back here, thanks for a fabulous stay 🙏 I can’t wait to try your harvest when it’s ready 🍾

Positive: A breath-taking view across the vineyard and so, so quiet that when a bird chirped I wondered what it was! Well equipped for a shepherds hut with a fridge w/ ice compartment, microwave and two hobs and an indoor bathroom. Bed was exceptionally comfortable as well with homely, well worn duvet that gave it a cosy feel. We didn't use the woodfired hot tub due to the weather, but everything was set up ready to go with a huge wood store at no extra fee. Oh and the shower is incredible.

Negative: Not an awful lot- it's a very well built shepherds hut (shrugged off 40mph+ winds during hurricane Nigel) but with decent plumbing and all features in miniature. Potentially use of a small amount of the blank wall space for a shelf, or small cupboard (over the foot end of the bed perhaps?) would be beneficial as often we found ourselves putting small items in bags and coat pockets instead of spreading out, but other than that a lovely stay.

Summary: A short stay in a very comfortable and warm cabin on a breath taking vineyard.
