Summary: Surrounding area was wonderful, river and park are right there. Hotel dated but clean, helpful staff.

Summary: This is a very old hotel that needs some serious renovation. They do have a natural hot spring hot tub but it also needs to be cleaned and painted. The restaurant was amazing. Very good food and staff was great.

Summary: Over all the stay was okay. The property could definitely use updating for the amount of money it cost to stay there. The carpet in our room had stains and holes. The bathroom was so small you couldn’t use the toilet and shut the door at the same time. The pillows were very worn and small.

Summary: The facilities were clean but old. Everything had a "just what is necessary to get by" feel to it. Even the mineral fed hot tub experience was disappointing. By far the greatest disappointment was breakfast. Food just didn't taste good.

Summary: About the only thing I liked here was the waffle at breakfast and the hot water pressure in the shower. This did not justify the exorbitant price for a dated hotel with dirty carpets and the strong smell of bleach.

Summary: I’ve been hearing about this place for years. We were all really excited to stay. Unfortunately everything was subpar. Even the couple who have stayed here in the past were also very disappointed to the point that they will not stay again. The staff was friendly, I’ll give it that. Unfortunately the bar and restaurant had seemingly one person running bar and tables. It took quite a while to get a drink and a menu. I left after a half hour of waiting. The tv remote only worked to turn on and volume control. The bathroom made loud whistling and wheezing noises throughout the night to the point that I could barely sleep. I hate leaving a bad review but this stay was a let down. I hope they work on swifter and more readily available staff for the sake of the bar and restaurant.

Summary: The staff at the front desk was polite and helpful. However would not let us into our room until after 3pm, not a big deal just seemed unnessary. But we found plenty to do in the meantime. The locker room and gym area was basically unuseable. The room was clean but extremely dated and felt old. The hotel itself felt the same. Clean enough but old and outdated. The stairs to the second floor rooms seemed like a fire escape stairwell. The pool and hot tub area was also very mediocre. We tried the restaurant but after waiting 5-10 minutes to be seated decided to go somewhere else. The morning breakfast was terrible. The eggs were cold, country gravy was not good. We ended up throwing the food away and just left. We would not stay at this hotel again, unless it was under new ownership and had a major renovation.

Summary: High hopes for the Spa hotel. Unfortunately it's showing its age, both with the decor and the acceptance/glorification of trophy kills, all proudly displayed in almost 100 pictures (and trophy heads). That aside, the room was dated and mattress as old as the acceptance of the photos. The pool was nice though had to hunt for towels and the majority of the sun loungers were broken. Breakfast was decent with selection of hot items. Good location. Just lacking in investment and acceptance what's acceptable in the 21st century!

Summary: So call it a hotel. It should be a lot nicer. It was more like a motel eight there is no elevator. The room was outdated and it had an odor to it and the bathroom was terrible.
