Summary: Overall pleasant stay; staff at the check in was not very friendly and didn’t make any effort to understand English however at the checkout and breakfast staff were very nice; room was very basic and a bit outdated but clean; hotel is situated close to the beach

Summary: The hotel was a charming building from the outside with pleasant gardens. The decor was a bit tired on the way up to the room. The room was pleasant enough with an adequate bathroom. Would have preferred a proper shower rather than one that one has to hold over a bath. We dined in the hotel on both nights. The service was very slow on the Satuday, over an hour between first and second course, it was better on the Sunday. It was also a touch pricey. Would recommend it to a friend.

Summary: The Hotel had the character that you can only find in France. It was quirky and typically rural French in it's decour and it was certainly comfortable and welcoming. The bed was extremely comfortable and as you would expect, spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. what amazed us was that attitude to well behaved pets. We were able to eat with the dog next to us as long as he was well behaved. that was a great surprise. The service was good and all in all we would recommend it to any traveller. The great bonus to us was the close proximity of the cliff top walks, the beach and it's cafe and the short drive to Calais for the channel crossing.
