Positive: The lodge was spacious and modern. The location was nice.

Negative: The lodge had many faults and was generally unclean. Walls had stains on them,the windows were smeared and not clean,the sofas were old and stained,the fridge had shelves missing and the log stove/ fire didn't work.When reporting these problems terms and conditions were quoted saying they needed time to put things right but no one came and a complaint form was only sent after several requests.

Positive: Set in gorgeous grounds clean tidy had everything we needed

Negative: The fact that we couldn’t put the heating on was a massive let down rang and told would get back to me and no one did even had someone message if there is anything they could do wen I asked if could have heating on even if was the electric fire on no reply very disappointing as the place is stunning just let me down wen I want to warm up and could put heating on no very good to be fair

Positive: nice location set in woods easy parking every thing on one floor no stairs plenty of wild life around deer, birds ,chickenshandy for main road to whitby

Negative: heating very noisy in morning fire not working since august would have been nice if we had knowed before we booked
