Positive: The house itself is nice. The location is superb

Negative: The pool wasnt as heated. Its suppose to be between 20-25 degrees. Reported it but nobody came and nobody came through. Rang the numbers through host and stay and booking.com but none of them could help us. There were ladybugs all over the living rooms and bedrooms

Positive: The grounds are stunning and the property itself is very grand. The main lounge is well maintained and incredibly comfortable. The pool is a real plus for the property and was so warm - it was fantastic.

Negative: The second lounge has a particularly old door which doesn’t seal well and so this room was too cold to sit in. There were lots of ladybirds all around and in the house, particularly in the large double bedroom on the highest floor. Some of the dining furniture was really poor quality and broke without cause while two guests were sat. That being said the Silton team were swift and responsive when we messaged them which is all we could ask for. I felt some of the facilities were lacking in a property intended for such a large group. There was no jug for table water for meals, the cooker was slow to cook food through and the sharp knives were dull which made it hard to prepare. But I understand part of that comes with a frequently used property.

Summary: Beautiful stay in a grand and impressive property. Excellent facilities and responsive hosts.
