Positive: This is a fabulous place for walkers to stay. Alex made me feel very welcome. The ensuite room was comfortable, there is an interesting lounge and the views over the Vale of York just lovely. I had a top quality evening meal, an excellent breakfast and a packed lunch to sustain me on the walk.

Positive: Wonderful farmhouse with fabulous views. Our room was cosy, warm and beautifully decorated. The entire house was spotlessly clean. The guest lounge was a real bonus-a lovely room to relax, chat and play a game of darts. The dinner and breakfast were both delicious (thank you chef Brett)! Alix and Brett were so very kind and couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We will return to take advantage of the hiking along the Coast to Coast Path which is on the doorstep.

Negative: Nothing at all.

Summary: Wonderful peaceful farmhouse, great food, good company. I would highly recommend staying here.

Positive: Lovely building and very clean house. Delicious breakfast.

Negative: Bathroom very cold. Also not particularly fond of everyone sharing a table for breakfast and dinner. Socialising at your own discretion prefered, rather than forced on you. Should yappy, growling dogs be at a meal table!? Prob not.

Positive: Absolutely beautiful BnB tucked away in the woods just off the Coast to Coast path. Can't recommend it highly enough! Fab welcome, homely big lounge with log burner, really lovely breakfast. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!!
